Have you ever looked at a piece of pottery and wished that you could make it? Are you looking for a creative
outlet? Do you need an activity or entertainment for your next get-together? I offer several different ways to
learn more about the process of making pottery through lessons and parties.
Private Lessons
I offer private lessons for adults and children in my home studio. Lessons run $10/hour plus a $20 materials fee
for a 25lb. bag of clay and firing, or $12/hour if you would like to pay for materials per lesson. Lessons are
usually held in 1-2 hour sessions. Lessons in hand-building clay are available for all ages. Lessons on the
pottery wheel are available for adults and children over the age of 12. Two to three sessions are usually needed
to complete a project.

Parties
I offer party packages for all occasions including birthday parties and bachelorette parties. I will come with
pottery supplies to your party location. The charge for parties is $12/person with a minimum of 6 people. Party
guests will create a hand-built pot and decorate it with underglazes (the potters wheel is not available for
parties). The creations will return home with me to be fired in my kiln and will be ready for pickup in
approximately 1-2 weeks.
There will be a $0.50 charge per mile traveled to your party location.

Non-Profit Organizations
I also offer packages for non-profit organizations such as the boy scouts and girl scouts. There are several
options available including a hand-building package similar to the party package listed above, but with a
$10/person rate with a minimum of 5 people. Also available for smaller groups is a potter's wheel package where
you can bring your group to my studio to spend a session on the potter's wheel along with a studio tour. The
charge for the potter's wheel package is $15/person with a maximum of 4 people.
